In keeping with an early-60s theme, a chrome Gran Sport r der would look great with the chrome stays and gold tubes.

How about red cloth tape (to match the dt logo), or perhaps blue (to match the ht badge), shellacked (is this the correct speeling?), and highlited with just a bit of gold Rub-n-Buff, then a top coat of shellac?

Is it spelled "Layotard" or "Lyotard"?

I wonder if Mr. Geminiani might have any comments about this bike? I believe he has his own website:
