My favorite was a wonderful late-1950s green Legnano pista, which the original owner's son was using as a daily commute. Same bike as in my Legnano photoalbum...FB 3-piece hubs, steel Ambrosio track stem and bars, Legnano-engraved Magistroni crankset with 1"x3/8" chain, Sheffield "Sprint" pedals.

At least the lad was taking good care of the bike... cleaned and oiled it every night.
