I have one on the rear on my Riv, see howtostretch.com/rivendel.htm.

I would prefer a recessed allen, but this is the way they came from Riv, from Grant's stash. Maybe I got two front brakes, and there was never a nutted version.

Don't know for sure. Anybody have any ideas on how to make this brake center bolt an allen instead of a hex attachment? Some one gave me the idea to sand off the chrome, then run a five by 1 mm die over the center bolt to thread it down further, then cut off the excess. Any other ideas?
