Not how I remember the events, Jim.

Actually the Rose Bowl Vintage Ride was going on before the VBA event you had in conjunction with the Rose Bowl Vintage Ride several years ago.

And of course, it is not "my" ride at all, but a ride that follows an established bicycle route in the San Gabriel Valley called the "Santa Anita Loop" by the locals and meets at a mutually agreed upon time and place. The ride does not have any sponsors. Indeed, the ride actually has no leader and no need for one since the locals already know the route. There are also no route sheets for the same reason. I make no claims that the ride is mine though I do think that it is a great idea to get together for a nice, easy paced, "social" ride with other vintage lightweight bicycle collectors in Southern California once a month.
