I'm hoping to beg buy or borrow a copy of Claudio Marabini's 1981 collection (book) of Dino Buzzati's articles from the 1949 Giro. This is the original Italian version of the "Bartali Vs Coppi at the '49 Giro" book.

I realize it's modern, but I was surprised to find Italian company "Bimm" is now marketing road bikes under the "Gino Bartali" brand... they're even using the old "cicli Bartali" logos:
