Subject: [CR]Re:Peter Rich's Sunday Shindig

Peter Rich is the owner of Berkeley's Velo-Sport Bicycle shop. He's celebrating either 40 or 50 years of "being in bicycles," this coming St. Pat's day, with a day-long thing. In the '60s and early '70s, he was a key source of high-end Italian frames, and a racer himself.

Here's what I know or have heard about the thing:

By invitation. Chuck, you could probably get in. I don't know if it costs anything, or if donations will be accepted, but.....

Berto, and Malcome Margolin (any of you heard of him, you win a handful of spare parts for Cinelli M71 pedals) 3-4: Bike design and fit. J-Finley Scott, Tom Ritchey, Jobst Brandt, and a chap named Paul After that, dinner. After that, dancing. After that, go home.

That's what I hear, and I've got no other details. I'll be there for some of it. Peter asked me to speak, but I'm too shy, so I'll just go.
