I'm certainly not the expert Richard is, but I could swear I recall having seen photos of a high-end Gimondi frame which was very much connected to Felice Gimondi, even had a decal with Gimondi's photo, much like Merckx's picture on some of the old Merckx frames. I seem to recall that the Gimondi bikes were typically deep blue. They could have been made by Bianchi or another major Italian firm. Does anyone else remember these or am I totally delusional here?
