Don't you hate messages that start with aaargggh in the subject line? I know I hate to write them...
I thought that I had my problem solved. Switch a 45t from a Stronglight 93 to my 49D to obtain a manageable amount of chain for a Campagnolo Gran Sport to be able to wrap and shift effectively. Same BCD right? Right. I didn't account for the difference in the sizes of the chainring fixing bolt nut. The smaller 49D nuts slip right through the larger diameter holes in the 93 chainring.
Anyone have one to swap or sell? Needn't be NOS; just reasonable in appearance and with enough life in the teeth to be useable.
