Subject: [CR]RE: Campy Nuovo Record "Patent" Chainrings...

I hope this topic hasn't been beaten to death in prior CR digest listings, but I am currently researching mid '70's replacement Campy chainrings and would really apperciate getting some answers to these questions:

Did mid-'70s Campy Nuovo Record cranksets have chainrings the word "Patent" engraved on both the larger and smaller chainring?

Or did the word "Patent" only come on the larger chainring and the smaller chainring would come with "< c >" on them?

Or does "< c >" mean something different all together?

What were the standard chainring combinations for Campy (road) cranksets: 54/42? 53/43? 53/42? Or all of the above?

Sincerely,
