Yes, they were always a huge amount of money. $30 a pair in the early 1980s when they were still in the stores twenty plus years ago. And Dura Ace hoods? Not available. Not from Shimano USA, no how!

When the last authentic world logo Campagnolo brake hood rots and falls off the last full Campy-equiped bike, you _will_ see accurately reproduced latex rubber hoods for sale. And don't be asking if they are licensed copies or not, Brutha!
