My Collins Concise English Dictionary has the most suitable word but you are
not going to like it. I quote;-
crop (krop) 3. a group of products, thoughts, people, etc., (etcetera)
appearing at one time or in one season.
In the UK we would say
"My LBS sold me a crop of Campag for my 'nag. Guar, for 1 year. I rode a
crit at the WE and IMO it was all US by three of the clock post meridiem. I

I can see this revolt against the abbreviation increasing the amount of
attached initial e-mail that trails off into infinity below the majority of
replies.
