Subject: [CR]Ebay Outing Bianchi

Hello List: I have never done any "ebay outing" until this now. If I am doing it wrong, please correct me. Basically, I want to get some feedback on this Bianchi, personally I believe it is at tops worth about half of what the person's "buy-it-now" price is; $475 + $50 shipping and "packaging" fee. http://ebay.com/<blah>

Now I know an item is worth "what ever the market will bare", but about 4 weeks ago, an almost exact bike, (except it was all original and in excellent condition) went for $295 + $25 shipping.
[To make this "Ebay Outing" even more awkward is that the seller may even be a dependable CR List member, I sure hope not. I have no reason to besmirch any list member, and if you are the seller reading this please allow me to apologize for my blunt inquiry.]
The bike is basically all Campy GS, but the seller makes no mention of this in his posting, nor the fact that the frame is most likely Columbus straight-gage Aelle. He/she then claims that the parts alone are worth $300, but I had to look awful hard to come up with $200 maximum worth in parts.
The seller does correctly point out that it has a SR-chainring and a NR derailluer/shifting package, and that the bars/stem/saddle are not original. He/She then makes reference to the idea that this bike is a "collector" item; I don't feel that I can comment on that one way or another.
Overall I feel the auction suffers not from an act of comission, but rather from an act of Omission. I have no idea whether this was done on purpose or not. I have had serious thoughts about getting the bike, but I would like to hear other's take before I bid anything. Please contact me off list or on list, for whatever feels most comfortable to you.
