CR FOLK:

Hey, I'd be interested in hearing from you if you have an MC masi with a serial number less than 1000.

I'm trying to track a few things (idle curiosity) and I figure a large percentage of these machines are probably owned by this group.

If you have an MC less than 1000, I'd like to get the answers to five questions: 1) size (mc-?) 2) fork crown: is it twin plate, or box? 3) seat lug: tang on front with holes, or not? 4) 'Made in USA' seat-tube decals, or not? (original paint, only) 5) what year was it originally sold? (could be a guess based on derailleur or hub-locknut date if you are not the original owner).

Thanks in advance for any info you are willing to provide.

While on a trip thru Roseburg Oregon (former putative "timber capital of the world") to attend my 25-year highschool reunion I saw MC333 with twin-plate crown hanging in a local shop -- repainted Forrest Service green. I can't verify that it was ever actually used for logging, however.
