Greetings,
I've introduced myself under the post" Newbie Mondia Questions". About the
same time my brother was offering me an old Mondia, I purchased my first
road bike in 17 years. It is a Panasonic Team Europe II , I found on ebay.
I bought it without knowing much history, and since the bike was
repainted, I'm not even postive about the identity.
The frame is lugged with a Shimano 600 drive train. The brakes and
seatpost are Campagnolo. Since the seatpost is 27.2mm, the tubing must be
thinner or larger than other older road bikes I have seen. The head tube
looks to be a little more relaxed than the seat tube. The chain stay bridge
looks like a cast piece. The fork dropouts say " National". There is a
decal on the forks saying "Fairman's." At the risk of the bike being off
topic, the chainrings are biopace.
Can anybody help with this model of Panasonic? Anybody know which parts
are more likely to be original? I'd love to know, even if I don't restore
it.
Thank you in advance!
