Last year at interbike, Shimano had a metallic green Colnago in their booth from the mid 70's. I've learned much since then, so I can't recall the details that would more correctly place this bike in time. My limited understanding led me to believe that it was a "team" bike from a European team they sponsored. Any one see this bike, or have better recall than myself on this team? It was stunning in dark green, and white decals I believe, but they could have been yellow. Lots of sensory overload at the time. Any way, if the period is correct for your frame, it'd be my choice, as I have a big soft spot for euro-pro bikes!
