I came back from holiday with a large awkward box. In it was a Campagnolo NOS disc front wheel. I hope someone can date it for me. There is no date on the lock nut just Camp 42 SU. This is on the outside of the locknut between the serrations and the thread. The QR skewer is curved with script logo. Ends are shaped like Fez's if you get my drift. I guess it is 80's, possibly just out of time line. The disc has 4 holes in it, is pearl white with blue Campagnolo logo right across the middle. Hub is held on with 4 rivets. Disc appears to be made of a brown foam like material. Not fibreglass or carbon. Rim is sprint type.
WTB a matching rear, gear thread. I have a 1983 Holdsworth built with Reynolds 531 "Speedstream" tubing. They were popular with time triallists so I hope to build a replica. I have English frames and equipment to trade for a NOS rear.
