I am offering to the list a 62cm c-t Mondonico frameset. This bicycle frameset is beautiful. It was painted by fellow CR member Alan Cline and he did an unbelievable job. The bicycle size just doesn't work for me. Therefore I am offering it for either sale or trade. If anyone knows Alan's work, they know the quality of the restore. Newly painted in British Green (my favorite) and new transfers, this is a beautiful bike. I don't know how to put a price on it, I know I originally was lusting after this and now, this hurts! The pics are available, just let me know and I can send them to you. This frame was painted due to pitting in the original chrome. This frameset is a mid 80s, has one set of bottle bosses, Mondonico lugs and just really is an absolutely immaculate looking frameset. Just ask for the pics and you can see. say $250 shipped and of course you can make offers. I have someone outside the list inquiring but I don't feel like driving 4 hours to take a kick to the groin and hear any comments about the frameset only having one bottle boss and not being "modern" and therefore worthy of less money. I don't feel they will appreciate what this frameset is truly about, I hope I am not misjudging them but this is my gut feeling.
In case of trade, Here's my usual longshots. I ride a 59cm c-t. Hopefully a clean condition bicycle equivalent in quality. I am searching for a quality touring frameset or an older (40s/50s) bicycle. Thanks to the list.
