Please be aware that many people with asthma, including me, are allergic to wool. (It's *not* one of those "sure, wool used to be itchy but you should try it now" kind of things.) I have never been able to wear the stuff and, after reading this message, I solicited opinions on an asthma newsgroup as to whether or not asthma suffers also tended to be allergic to wool. The respondees were unanimous - everyone who said they also cannot wear wool.
My clothes, off and on the bike, are generally cotton or synthetic, once in a while silk.
You all have my permission to wear your vintage-style wool jerseys <smile>. If you ever decide to make a synthetic one, count me in.
