Hi list, Thanks for all those who responded to the offer on Wolber tyres but they are all sold now. Also thanks to all those who responded saying that the designation 70 (for 70mm BB shells) on the axles I am selling on Ebay meant they are for Italian BB shells. I also gather that 74 is also an Italian size!

Now for the really technical question!

Each of these axles has the same length and apparently the same BB shell size, but are stamped differently: 70 SS, 70 SSb, 70SSg, 70SPC and 70 SSA. The only difference I can see is that 2 of them (SSA and SPC) have a 50mm gap between the ridge of the bearing surface, whereas the other three have a 50mm gap. To me this would imply that the races are closer and therefore for a different BB shell size!

Does anyone have better info than I have to explain the differences, so that I can make my ebay descriptions a little less vague!

Thanks
