I have known Dave "since 1974". He is a "piece of work" but honest and sincere. He has tires piled up like you would not believe. Talk to him, don't irritate him, and you will get a great deal.
He also is moving soon so he may be motivated to cut a deal if you act nice and buy quantity!

Were the Czech tires Barums? I would guess probably yes. I rode those years ago, and, as I recall, they were tough. I found the following in the Velo-News classifieds:
