One of the requirements of this part was to thread the frame BB shell with a long tap so both sides were clocked the same. He used Italian thread, 36 x 24tpi., all the way across his bottom bracket. It will not fit into a frame without this long tap being used first.

That fellow (I think) had quite a few of those at a VeloSwap either last year or the year before. A piece of history.. Not much practical application though... Study the threading carefully!
