That BB has to be Italian (or French) thread. I vaguely remember these BBs, though I don't recall ever seeing one first hand. You would need a custom threaded BB to do this in English, where the right-side tap was run all the way through. Since BB shells typically come pre-threaded, it's not likely to be too useful in an English threaded frame. If my dismal memory retains any credence, these were only available in Italian threading.
