Alpine - 52cm seat x 53m top. Light metallic blue, w/Columbus tubing. Built by Fred Kelly, early to mid 80's, in the DC area. Fred Kelly consulted Tom Kellogg when he first started his business. Consequently, Alpine frames have a similar look to early Tom Kellogg frames. Very clean workmanship. Campy SR HS, Suntour Superbe cranks, seat post, pedals, R + F. derailleurs, Suntour Sprint hubs with Wolber TX Aero profile clincher rims, Cinelli bars & stem, Suntour brake levers, Modolo Special calipers, Selle San Marco saddle. There is a chip in the paint on the point of the seat lug. $595.00

- Ferrari - 52.5cm seat(center to center) x 53cm top, unknown Italian frame with Ferrari decals, very unique lug cut outs, Campy dropouts, chrome fork crown, Braze on cable guides on top of BB for shift cables and cable stop on top of r. chainstay. (No water bottle, shifter, or top tube cable guides braze-ons) The story I was told - a California bike ship in the LA area brought in these frames from Italy and sold them without decals. I've never seen another Italian frame with these lug cutouts. $125.00
- Jack Taylor - 53cm ST(center to center), 54cm TT, Curved seat tube, semi-vertical rear dropouts, cantilever bosses front and rear. Someone had brazed on a front derailleur hanger that was so incredibly hideous, I removed it. The frame needs paint. Based on the serial #, I dated the frame circa 1984. $295.00
-Jim Redcay Track frame, 55cm seat tube - (center to top), 55cm TT, 39 1/2" wheelbase, Campy track dropouts, frame has 3 TT braze-on cable guides and braze-on DT water bottle bosses. Rear brake bridge and front fork will accept a brake caliper. Includes a Campy SR headset (the HS is cosmetically fine but the bearings/races feel rough) Frame is a cream color with black decal on the DT and the head tube has a Red "K". Tom Kellogg of Spectrum cycles shared a paint booth with Redcay for a few years, here is what Tom has to say about Redcay "One of the early greats of modern American frame building, Jim was one of my mentors, working out of Lambertville, NJ from the mid 70s to the mid 80s. Eventually he replaced me as the Ross Signature builder when I went on to found Spectrum Cycles. Jim developed a unique style of building opting for clean, modern and simple pieces. Eventually, Jim decided to retire from frame building and pursue other crafts." Redcay went on to become a technical editor at Bicycling. He eventually left Bicycling to work at Gardening magazine owned by Rodale Press $425 for a piece of framebuilding history!
