Sounded kinda high-class to me too . Good price for such a great name . But maybe a bit high up on the ladder .

But then , I'm still looking for more of those $ 8.95 all-cotton Hutchinson SuperSprints .

They were so great as long as you didn't put more than 85 p.s.i. in them .

Pump them up to 90 p.s.i. , and ride them around on a scorching hot South Texas day , and they'd very quickly - like in an hour - develop casing failures we used to call "snake-back" . The tread got all twisty on the poor little things , when the casing under the tread started to part ways .

Cotton Hutchinson SuperSprints were $ 8.99 Silk Clementi Campionato del Mondos were $ 49.95 .

sigh . . .
