When we did inventory last year the owner of LBS I work at occasionally gave me a n. gran sport shifter? It needs part that is the cable stop and the lever stop for the right hand lever (both tabs broken off). The left hand one is functional but chrome is flaking at the bend for the cable stop. If some one happened to have one or the other please let me know. Also the bolt and nut are missing. I am thinking that I am going to use these on a Zeus bike that I rescued from a dumpster.

How do these stack up? Never saw one of these and my calling them N. gran sport is a guess because it didn't match the pictures from listmembers sites for older gran sport. These look like they might be smooth. I like the big knurled tension adjuster.

Call me a romantic or a fool. This bike is probably not worth the time I'm putting into it but it has been fun.

I bought a wheelset 5 or so years ago from the BicycleMan in Alfred NY that had Zeus hubs and Rigida 700 C rims just because they were great looking and the price was right.

Earlier this year I rescued what was left of a Zeus from the dumpster. A frame with Zeus forged dropouts. I need one adjuster screw or a matched pair I have the rear Zeus super alpha 71 centerpull brake Zeus crank and BB 16 mm bolts are in bad shape (no Chrome) Zeus seat post that is thinned on the inside by steps. Zeus Rear brake cable stop, seat post binder and bolt on double cable guide for the bb. The bike was a fallen soldier from a sweaty roller rider. No fork, handlebars, headset, brake handles. The Zeus Alpha front der. is missing the bolt for the bottom of the chain guide and pretty ratty an ofmega rear der. There was a rear wheel with a san milremo hub.

I have been having fun thinking about what I'm going to do with it. I did the artwork for the decals and Sheldon Brown's web site gave me a link for water slide decal stock. I was thinking of using the campag. shifter on this mishmash. I got a chrome fork from Quality, it almost works. The front of the top tube is about 3mm too low for the top tube to be level. Planning on having it painted a screaming "look at me" yellow.
