I must politely disagree here Jan. All of Rebour drawings were done for commercial purposes.

The only purpose of original commercial artwork was to be photographed for reproduction. Once photographed, the artwork had no further purpose and was often discarded by the company or publisher the artwork was sold to. Sad but true.

Take it from one who has been a commercial artist since the mid '60s.
