Frejus had a seat collar on their bikes similar to some tig wielded frames of today as well as many mountain bikes. I know were are not suppose to make fun, and I am not trying to here, but I thought this was an interesting way of putting this: The rear triangle looks reasonably symmetrical...

And I owned a mid '50's Lygie and I never thought the lugs were so rough that I needed to take a file to them. Granted they were not quaility of Cinelli or other makes. Overall the frame reminds me of a 1960s Lygie. The sort of thing Carnielli cranked out...except...the workmanship is distinctly better than any Lygie I've seen. Someone clearly took a file to the lug curves to smooth them out. The drop-out joints are crude however.

It will be fun to watch this one. Could make a fun run around town bike if it is straight.

Mark, my drop-out joints were crude however, Poore
