Pardon me for butting in here but I think what e-richie meant was that there was still room in the pro peleton for a lugged steel bike but that the marketplace prevents such a thing from happening. Correct me if I am wrong richie. After all, what would happen in the (bicycle) marketplace if Lance won his 5'th consecutive tour next year on a beautiful lugged steel creation, albeit with a set of Hyperon's, a threadless stem & STI shifters?
