Ok Chuck and others, please help me here. The lever I have (from early boom Coppi) is stamped on the side of the body with a wide diamond Balilla logo, and a bird that is for the most part exactly like the bird I have seen on Gipiemme brake bridges. Did Galli also blend with Gipiemme (and so early), or is this perhaps a national symbol, like the eagle on US crests? The lever has no QR or rounded undersides, but it does have a threaded cable adjuster, and a cool translucent, faded color red vinyl or rubber hood. Any ideas of what the hood looked like when new? Inquiring minds want to know...

Best regards, Mark Agree Detroit MI
