Yes I'm sure about my 1997 Countach OS being a Mondonico, but I also think
your right about Padova connection. What my dealer told me at the time of
purchase that some of the earlier '97 Countach OS were made by Mondonico and
I was one of the lucky ones to get one. At that time he told me the story
about Mondonico frames and had me feel up inside the bottom bracket before I
built up the bike. Sure enough the pins are definitely there!
I do remember him also mentioning that some of the Countachs were being made
by someone else, but he didn't specify who or where.
