I wrote in an earlier post regarding the Legnano on Italian Ebay:

It has been questioned when Legnano was taken over by Bianchi. Does anybody have any definite information as to when the take.over took place. In saying that it took place prior to the production of the 1968 bike listed, I was basing the comment on things that had been told to me, but I am the first to admit that I might be mistaken about this and would therefore like to ask if anybody can supply some documentable information.
