Been doing some more sorting and cleaning of basement. As in the past: first come, frst served; jpegs available if needed; buyer pays shipping; personal checks if I know you, bank check or money order otherwise (I got burnt last time around); please be patient as sometimes I need to hear back from someone in line before you. Any questions please ask. Some trade/want items listed at the bottom of the list. Thanks for looking!
1. 1978 Raleigh Professional frameset. Very good to excellent condition. 22.5 or 57cm c-t. Mink blue and silver. Reynolds 531 DB throughout. Hayden long point lugs with windows. Campagnolo short dropouts, no eyelets, with rear drive side one drilled for chain holder plate. Chrome on dropout faces. Paint is very good with some scratches that have been touched up well. Decals are all excellent. From 5 feet she looks perfect, you can not see the touch-up's - she is really very, very nice. Now the flaw - a small dent on the top of the top tube, located about 3" before the seat lug. The dent is about 3/8 long and 1/8 wide. It is completely hidden by the brake cable and the bike was originally sold to me without the flaw being mentioned and not noticed by me until I stripped the bike down for a rebuild. So, the dent is there but is hidden from sight. This frameset is identical to the one pictured on Dale's website. Price is $225. If desired by buyer only, excellent Campagnolo NR headset for another $45 already installed and freshly packed. Also, 1977 dated (original to the bike) Campagnolo NR crankset w/BB in excellent condition for another $85, 170, 53/42, only some very minor toe strap rub and freshly repacked.
2. 1972 Sutter frameset. 21 or 53.5cm c-t. Reynolds 531 DB throughout. I believe the lugs are long point Prugnat. Robbins egg blue paint in good condition with some chips and scrapes needing light touch-up. Sutter decals are excellent, Reynolds decals are poor. Chrome on ½ forks and rear stays. Fork chrome is fine just needs cleaning, rear stay chrome is peeling. Simplex dropouts. Takes a 26.4 seatpost (not included). $100. Also available to the buyer, Stronglight Competition headset in what appears/feels fine condition but I have not disassembled it so exact condition is unknown, for $20.
3. Peugeot PY10cp frameset. 21.5 c-c (not c-t). Rare Peugeot carbon and aluminium frame. Vitus fork and stays. Stronglight headset included. May need to be rebonded. I'm unfamiliar with this type of frame and offer no promises. Was sold to me as a wall hanger and that is how I'll offer it to the list. Looks nice but areas around joints have loose aluminum bands and one area is covered with tape which I have not uncovered. Decals are mostly there but some have rubbed off. Rare Peugeot item though. $125.
4. Campagnolo crankset (no BB), 170 53/42, dated 1984. Between poor to good condition. Both rings show wear with some life left in them but not much. Arms have some rub and scratches, no dustcaps. $40
