If anybody wants to go ahead with this project, keep me posted. I'd like
to be able to ride my aluminium railed Ideale, but the seatpost clamp
that I have has seen better days.
There was a bike on display in Wheelsmith at Palo Alto which had an
Ideale saddle clamped into a Nuovo Record post with extra long 7mm bolts.
The Zeus parts are a much more elegant solution- the cradles hang below
the pivots on the seatpost head.
