There are a couple of versions of the MAFAC 2000 : the first has the name and model stamped into the arm, in the traditional style. Also, the straddle wire is similar to the Competition with a small gear lever type nipple on one end and a thumb tab on the other. The later one has a small recessed area on the arm that contains a black sticker with gold lettering carrying the MAFAC name and 2000. The ends of the arms take a different straddle cable that I believe had spherical ends-I've found that CLB Racer straddle wires with cylindrical ends fit. 2000 brakes also had wheel guides. Oh yes, brass bushings.
