I just got one of these spoke tensiometers from a bike wrench/friend who asked if I would try selling it for him. I was going to put it on eBay but after seeing this post, perhaps someone on the CR list may have a need for it if the price was right. He looked up the price in the QBP catalog and said the wholesale price was just under $100.00 on these precision calibrated tools. Suggested retail would probably be a minimum of $120 + tax and/or shipping. I was thinking $75, including shipping is a fair price for a NOS/NIB Wheelsmith Tensiometer. If someone is interested in the tensiometer, kindly contact me off list. Thanks,

<< A tensiometer takes the guess work out of properly tensioning a wheel's spokes. You can 'twang' the spokes to see if the sound that resonates sounds the same, BUT without a tensiometer, you never truly know if the tension is proper. Keep the rubber side down and ride, ride, ride!
