Hi all:

Long answer to a short question.

Currently our site is going through some up-dates, automated reply to orders, secure on line ordering and so on. We are runnimg a solid 5 to 7 days behind of the shipment of goods. So from now on you should get an automated reply.............If not then there is something wrong. But please note, incomplete order forms will be turned away.

A few examples.

(1) No choice of payment method being presented, CC# or Paypal.

(2) Incomplete address,

(3) no items being listed.

So if your order form was rejected, please recheck your order form.

Some of our ordering info it became old news within weeks of going on line, like confirming orders!.........We decided to get this incompleted site on line and clean it up as we go along...................You see I gave my old employer the finger and said ''BYE BYE!'' From July of '99 till November of that year!.............There was no $income$ coming in from my end. So you see it was critical to see some cash flow!...............Things were getting bad when you find yourself scraping for $$$ to put food on the table. And my other half was not so sure about this whole thing, we were as green as green tomatoes to this internet thing!........We had no idea where it would take us, it was do or die!! So we did what we did because it had to be done. As for the biz it was only to be a part time gig, we were dead wrong! The bizz took off like gang busters.............And yes we we are sending a lot of goods to ebay!..............Another outlet for our goods.

As for the early part of Renaissance cycles, it was a major mess!..........Bike parts in the bedrooms, attic and living room! Toss in the kitchen too! But now we are online and hooked up at the warehouse, so we are hoping this will make things better for the long haul..............We also have some eager gophers out there doing the looking for us and this will help free-up some of my time, not just to help customers but to give me some ''SADDLE TIME!''

Orders going out with bills, only a few here and there but mostly to regular customers. But we do try follow up by sending a bill in the mail.

As for some of the workings of our site!...........Blame it on the provider, they just can't get it right! We will instruct them to do ne thing but they always end up doing a Mickey mouse job on the first go.

For the servival of Renaissance cycles, 3 weeks before going on line we decided to change our format! Instead of offering all of the Chicy type goods like many other dealers, we decided to go the other way and offer the B and C grade type of items .................From what we canmsee, a good choice on our part................But that dosen't mean that we don't seek nor offer these goods.

So from now on you should get an automated reply to your order. I f you don't then there is something wrong. But note to be known. If the order form is incomplete in any way, it will be turned away.

So if you have a question please feel free to ask. If we do not reply, it's not because we decide not to.........Many times I tend to get heavy on the delete button! And many times there is something going on with my provider! They don't operate as like in the States!!>.............They are a 9 to 5 operation, 5 days a week!............And many times, I feel like a ''SNOOZING!'' driver behind the steering wheel.........The 15 hour days, seven days a week is still not enough.

At the end we always try our best to make things right and some times we just get side tracked..................Like the ''FIRE!'' Man I wish we still had those 1,400 SR and NR brakes levers and yes they all had freash hoods!

The SB gig is still in the cards!......................Growing pains from the start!.............Not what we had planned.

BC.................And the gang!!
