Thankyou. Sure do read your timeline and with great interest. It might be just that; the lack of mention of a NR pedals anywhere............yet I still sometimes see "NR" pedals (clearly an error") offered on ebay from time to time. Maybe they are really SR or SL.

All the following gleaned from the Timeline (are you guys even bothering to read this stuff?): 1956 -- The Gran Sport pedal (steel quill with strap loop) is introduced. 1967 -- Record pedals (name change) 1971 -- Superleggero pedals with black anodized aluminum cages and plastic dust caps 1974 -- Super Record, titanium spindles for pedals

No such thing as a Nuovo Record pedal that I'm aware of. There was a Gran Sport pedal when Gran Sport was the cheap stuff in the 1980s (stamped "Gran Sport" on the barrel).
