I have an '83 Alan "Cross Super" which I used for over twelve years of racing without any problems. I don't know of any local (Ohio) Alan framesets which have come unglued. Indeed, the one I have seems quite sturdy still, even after around 170 cyclocross races and well over 10,000 miles training.
