The photo of Oscar with the broken wheel in the expansion joint was a staged one , it appeared in the first issue of Life magazine . A lot of us who hung out at American Cyclery heard the story from him at his famous end of the year party's . I would like to hear how many of us received tickets from the CHP for riding your bike on the bridge .
