"standard Dia-Compe levers, you can see the punch outs for the "safety levers". Put this hood on a Campy or Campy style lever and the hood will be loose and squirm around. This is not just a shabby misrepresentation but also a safety problem. The seller knows it, he has been told, and he persists."

Mine are black Diacompe hoods that I mounted on SR levers. They have the side punchouts- holes for safety levers if needed.. It is indeed dishonest to say they were intended for NR/SR levers. But as mentioned in a previous post, I knew what I was buying and from one of the most reputable bike stores in the world. For me there is no functional problem that I can discern. While clearly "incorrect", they seem to fit and they don't squirm (so far anyway-they are new). They also don't tear during installation. Were I more experienced, or had previously owned Campagnolo rubber, I might be more critical.Maybe there are are a few variations in the Dia-comp rubbers-maybe I have some model more compatible than other Dia-compes. They were new and may have been NOS.
