and they got the two piece clamp earlier than the white hood.... and later bodies have some wierd casting differences that appear to be ther to allow modification to aero routing. < SR levers, at some point, WERE being produced without the lettering on the end of the barrels. So, this is not a fullproof criteria for determining if a lever is SR or Victory. However, if you do see lettering on the barrel, you can at least be sure it is not a Victory lever. Victory levers are simple to identify:

1) Victory levers have the shield logo, not the vertical lettering as on the SR. 2) The three vertical rows of holes in the Victory lever all start (from top) at the same level. On SR, each outer row extends higher up on the lever. >>
