As David points out, it could be other than Aelle (straight gauge) tubing. There are definitely Tretubi Matrix (butted and a bit heavier tubeset than SL) bikes but not bad (i.e. my Fiorelli beater) and Tretubi SL bikes (i.e. my Italvega).

Aelle isn't bad tubing either; I have an Aelle-tubed Razesa that is a very nice ride.
