Steven beat me to a recalling of the same stories I heard back in the early 80's.
After Mr. Lovell's accident, there was a cycle clothing business, I believe set up with his wife. Their "heart" clothing logo a proment feature in their designs. I still occasionally see their shorts on riders around town, but the Jocelyn built bikes are quite rare, although in the later 80's the "velosport" brand did licence the name Lovell, and produced some lower end suntour bikes for the market in canada... featuring red and white paint schemes not unlike a Sachs.
