The levers are the weakest link IMO. Clean everything, assemble dry with blue Loctite on screw threads, tighten up. A very small amount of lube(Tri-flow) to improve feel if neccesary. Helps but I still don't like'em! Solution for other bike was Suntour Ratchet d/t shifters. Big improvement.
