No I wasn't thinking that the Alan was off topic but the requesting advise on its value. MY brother's bike is definitely a racing bike and the only fatigue is from hanging on a wall. The bike is near mint once it is cleaned of its dust. Not even much in the way of dirt at all. As far as the triple goes I guess I will spend the winter thinking of which of the three options I will take 1) convert the Doniselli 2) buy a modern bike ( can I say that here) 3) find a reasonably priced classic triple As I have limited funds for bikes and not a hard rider any of the three options will do. Just thought if the Alan was a better candidate I would obtain it from my brother. But he would probably charge me too much for it anyway LOL
