My LBS has a bunch of Avocet cranks for around $35.00. Think they're all silver. He uses them for inexpensive 144mm BCD ring replacement fodder.
I propose we all keep our eyes open for bits for Brandon's project. Probably about as painful as collecting a Galli group in only one color of anodizing but possibly cheaper.
