Mine says MC on the bottom bracket, Specifically...serial # MC54 D8328 But...it is a 1983 Masi GC. Tesch, former listmember who worked for Masi, told me he built my frame in 1983 San Marcos.He asked questions, saw the pics,asked about the Masi engravings on the chrome fork crown,the fork being oval new continentals, and I presume other tippoffs. We never discussed the GC in the serial number and as a newbie I was much too dumb to think of it.Is there something amiss here?Could Tesch have built it? Is it from Carlsbad?

Now I am easy going. I could readily accept that the MC stood for Mark Cutrufelli.That would make perfect sense. But now I don't know where my bike was made.

Help medic? Before me and my Masi have an identity crisis.I still have the EBAY pics and description if anyone could help.
