This post got me thinking. What happens to my bikes when I die. My family doesn't ride and therefore won't use them. I guess they could sell the bikes and use the money to bury my crusty old axx. The Medici, Tommasini and the others are just nice bikes and there are a lot of them out there so it really doesn't matter much to me where these bike go. The Rauler is different. Being so rare I would like for someone to have the bike that would appreciate it for it's beauty as well as it's ride quality. It is such a wonderful riding bike it would be ashame not to put some miles on it, not hard and hang it up wet mind you, as I don't want it just to hang on a wall as art or anything like that. Any ideas out there? One thought I had was to have Dale put it up for auction to list members only and then the money could go for the maintenace costs of the CR website or something like that. That way someone who would appreciate the bike would get it and the money received from the bike could go towards something that has given me so much pleasure.
