I don't think they were "brought in" by Motobécane, but they were _built_ by Moto.

I know that there were such Astras, but all of the Astras I've ever come upon were low-end bike-boom models: gaspipe frames, Hurét Alvit, steel Rigida rims, Normandy hubs with wingnuts, Weinmann sidepulls, steel handlebars. A step down from a Raleigh Record, and a long way below the lowly Peugeot UO-8.
