I ordered my Cinelli S.C. from Cupertino Bike Shop in November of 1970. In addition to special ordering the color, light blue,(I sent a sample from a box Clement glue), I requested chrome on the dropouts only. I am also aware that Spence Wolf could specify changes(as required by customer's needs) to frames that he purchased from Cinelli. I had previously purchased a beautiful yellow Cinelli (from available stock)with all chrome forks and completely chromed seat and rear stays for my first wife earlier that year. Other than the chrome and color schemes, these two(2) bikes did not have any features not otherwise found on the Cinellis of the day. In the early '70's I had the opportunity to visit Mr.Atchison's Shop (I believe it was called Ace Cycles) in Vancouver, B.C. He had perhaps four (4) or five (5) built up Cinellis with 100% Campagnolo components in his showroom and they were all silver with the typical chrome treatment, and the lug holes were filled in with red paint.
